Evaluate deployment model "Co-Management"
coastal resources in Phuoc Hai, Dat Do District

      Continue to implement pilot Stewardship Council (Co-management) and aquatic habitats in sea zone Phuoc Hai Town, District Dat Do is deployed from 07/2013, dated 15.11.2013 Research & Consultant Institute  Sustainable Development and the departments, unions and fishermen had Phuoc Hai workshops, evaluation results performed 3 months Co-management test model in Phuoc Hai coastal resources to draw experiences continue to implement the model this figure for the coastal areas of the province.

Attend workshops at Phuoc Hai People's Committee offices have Co-management board member, Vice Chairman Phuoc Hai (head), the mass Farmers Association, Women, Youth, border posts, Chief of Police town, Natural Resources and Environment district and neighborhood representatives Phuoc Trung, Hai Son, Hai Lac, Hai Phuc, Loc An. About  the CISD have Dr. Tran Thi Ut, Master Tran Thi Van and master Huynh Thanh attended.

Tran Thi Ut, presented the findings from March to May 8/2013 showed that resource waters Phuoc Hai exhausted by management not close, the powerful fishing vessels from other localities in country both locally and Phuoc Hai fishing using destructive means (explosives ) or that high, close to shore. To manage coastal resources effectively co-management model, coordination between state agencies and fishing communities and introduced 3-month trial operation from August to October, 2013

      The work carried out to evaluate the model Co-management aquatic habitat on the sea and the town of Phuoc Hai dated 15.11.2013 between the CISD with agencies, organizations, participating fishermen Co-management helped members and fishermen to raise awareness of the benefits model in the protection and use of marine resources, and as a basis for recommendations to the relevant qualifications to boost support for deployment and implementation patterns, contributing to the protection and best use precious marine resources are not infinite but local and national.
